Employees of the Lagos state waste management agency haste cried for help as they are being owed three months salaries. These workforce remained steadfast in keeping Lagos clean even during the pandemic shutdown and despite putting their lives at risk, the government has realized to pay them for a whole quarter. Some of these workers have no medical insurance to cater to their health issues and no food to keep them going as they have run out of all means of raising money.
The Management of Lawma needs to come to their aid with immediate response to avoid people dying of hunger or falling ill as a result.
